Wastewater System Upgrades Phase One West Yard

Systematic was contracted to complete a wastewater upgrade at the West CN Yard’s wastewater building. The project required demolition of outdated equipment and piping and installation of a new Oil Water Separator, components, piping and pumps.

Water Treatment Plant – Mechanical Piping

Role in Provisions of Works and Services

Installation of all structural steel (pipe racks), pumps, piping, and tanks for new MBBR water treatment plant. Piping included PVC, CPVC, HDPE, threaded and welded carbon & stainless steel. Time-sensitive project completed with 24-hr shifting and working through winter conditions. This project involved installation of 8700 LF of piping.

WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) Upgrade

Completion of building modifications including chamber reconditioning, new e-room, new washroom, overhead door, lab space, and high-performance coatings. Installation of all process structural, mechanical, and piping including structural steel, pumps, piping, and tanks. Piping included PVC, CPVC, HDPE, threaded and welded carbon & stainless steel. Equipment included oil water separator, inclined plate clarifier, chemical skids, dissolved air flotation system, coagulator, flocculent system, weir box, oil skimmer, sludge transfer & storage system, and GAC filter.

Underground Water Pipe Repair
